چکیده

Introduction HCI’s historical and intellectual roots lie in cognitive science and the central underlying philosophical claim of cognitivism, that the mind can be understood and modeled in computational terms. This perspective has underwritten an extensive empirical and theoretical program exploring the operation of the human cognitive system from a representational and information-processing perspective, couched in terms of symbol manipulation, storage and processing.
